A man of about 20-year old was chopped to death on Sunday at 10:40 PM in Obbo Payam Magwi County of Eastern Equatoria State.
The man by name Ayie sustained major injuries on the head and legs leading to his immediate death, Radio Emanuel reported.
Magwi Deputy Youth Chairperson Lima Messi confirmed that Ayie went hiding since Saturday after he committed a crime against a girl believed to be his relative.
The culprit surrendered himself to the police station in Magwi.
The body of Ayie is awaiting burial.
