Priest criticizes citizen’s ‘bad practices for riches

Christ the King Parish Priest in Yei Catholic Diocese condemns some citizens’ ideas and practices of getting rich by killing and robbing people, corruption and land grabbing opposed to Biblical teachings.
 
Fr Tom Poru Martin in his Sunday homily advises South Sudanese to get rich through their hard work, Radio Easter reported.
 
He cautions that if citizens concentrate their minds on earthly riches, they only divert their faith from God.
 
Fr Poru urges citizens to return to God and properly utilize his talent to contribute in national transformation.
 
He observes that God created everyone with a purpose, calling for more prayers for the nation to realize peace.
