He on behalf of the political alliance says there is no justification at all to spend hundreds of million South Sudanese Pounds on celebration amidst looming famine and misery.
SPLM for Democratic Change or SPLM-DC Chairman Dr Lam Akol Ajawin says South Sudanese have nothing to celebrate on the fourth independence anniversary, except marking July 9th as a historic day.
He challenges government to stop squandering money on harmful ventures instead of prioritizing peace.
