WES Education Minister says Japan pledges more supports

Western Equatoria Education Minister reports that Japanese Embassy in Juba pledged more educational support to the state.
 
Pia Philip Michael after returning from Juba on Thursday says he meet the Japanese Ambassador to South Sudan and discussed with him possibilities to support the state, Radio Anisa reported.
 
He discloses that the national Education Ministry instructed all states to start counting all their teachers.
 
Mr Philip urges communities to send all children to schools while the government provides learning facilities, teachers’ salaries and the capitation grants to support their welfare.
 
He also discloses that three educational donors namely USA, DFID and EU resolved to come together and focus on teachers’ management and capacity building for the next five years in South Sudan.
