Kajo-Keji County councilors formed by-laws ordering selling premises; bars and alcohol brewers to operate far away from learning institutions and that violators would either face fine or imprisonment.
Press Secretary Derik Dickson told CRN in a telephone interview on Thursday that the by-laws order any person intending to hold a party to get a permit from Payam administration.
Mr Dickson says the County and Payam administrations would not give permit for discos and that people who contravene would either pay 200 Pounds or serve one-year prison term.
The Press Secretary says one article in the by-law ban parents from allowing under age children to night clubs and parents violating would be fine to pay 25 Pounds per a child or serve one-month imprisonment.
Mr Dickson expresses their serious commitment to ensure implementation, advising citizens to abide by the by-laws or face punitive measures.
