UN demands speedy justice for terrorists’ attack in Kenyan University

United Nations or UN Secretary-General condemns terrorists’ attack on Garissa University College in North-Eastern Kenya calling for speedy justice for the perpetrators.
 
Ban Ki-moon in a statement by his Spokesperson in New York expresses his solidarity to the people of Kenya and the government, reiterating continues support to Kenya and the region to counter terrorism and violent extremism.
 
He hopes that the situation would quickly be brought under control without further harm to the hostages.
 
In a separate statement, UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova also condemns the incident, saying the vicious attack on an institution of higher learning is deliberate act against the future of ambitious students.
