Apostolic Archbishop tells world leaders to avoid sanctioning South Sudan

Middle East Apostolic Archbishop visiting the country on Wednesday appealed to United State, Europe, China, Russia, and other world leaders to avoid all threats of sanctions on South Sudan.
 
Archbishop Bahjat Batransha urged international bodies to invest in South Sudan instead of sanctioning its leaders.
 
President Salva Kiir called on South Sudanese to make use of the fertile land to produce food to avoid reliance on imports from the neighbouring countries.
 
The speakers made the statements during a public rally addressed at Dr John Garang Mausoleum that brought thousand South Sudanese together.
