Kotido Catholic Diocesan priest called on South Sudanese to forgive one another, reconcile and recognize each other as brothers and sisters to attract development to the country.
Fr Raphael Lobeere, who was talking during a peace dialogue between Didinga of Budi and Logir of Ikotos Counties at Chorokol on Friday, likened South Sudan situation to Rwandan 1994 incident, Radio Emmanuel reported.
He prayed for peace to reign amongst communities of Budi and Ikotos Counties particularly and South Sudan in general.
Eastern Equatoria Governor’s Advisor on Economics and Development Martin Odwar appealed to citizens to accept peace in their societies to realize development in the state.
The Advisor encouraged Budi and Ikotos communities to copy Magwi County on the peaceful co-existence and development.
