Yei Catholic Diocese on Wednesday started a three-day sixteenth annual meeting with the aim of achieving planned activities.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe while opening the meeting, thanked the participants for their turn up, encouraging them to be free to deliberate for the good of the diocese, Radio Easter reported.
He called for collective efforts and work among Church leaders to realize positive implementation of the resolutions to be reached.
The meeting is expected to review the minutes, resolutions and recommendations of the fifteen annual meeting, discuss the year of the consecrated life 2015 and share the overview and progress on the first year of the five-year diocesan strategic plan.
It is also expected to discuss about the dedication of the new church of Sacred Heart Parish-Lomin in Kajo-Keji, the inauguration of Holy Trinity Parish in Morobo and preparations for the 2016 World Youth Day.
The three-day 16th annual meeting is expected to conclude with a Eucharistic celebration on Sunday.
