Business & Professional Women Federation President on Wednesday asked the government to put in place regulations for leasing as women entrepreneurs acquire leasing skills from International Finance Corporation training in Juba.
Nyiel Gordon Kuol told CRN that leasing would boost women enterprises through access to rental equipment such as transportation trucks and hotel utensils from leasing companies as alternative to bank loan requiring collateral security.
Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs Secretary-General Aja Kuol said leasing principle is a new idea in the country paving way to women entrepreneurs to rent equipment for an agreed period.
South Sudan Chamber of Commerce Secretary-General Simon Akuei Deng told journalists that women entrepreneurship deserves empowerment to protect them and society from vulnerability.
The Secretary-General added that the Chamber of Commerce is promoting women entrepreneurship through capacity building.
