The national Education Ministry revealed a plan to carry out census in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State.
Yei Education Director Philip Taban told Radio Easter that the census helps in planning and improving the quality of education in the county.
He disclosed that the national ministry intends to know how many schools, classes, teachers and other infrastructure facilities are there in Yei.
Mr Taban added that there are 120 densely populated primary schools, 64 nursery schools and 20 secondary schools in Yei River County.
