The SPLM-N top leadership on Sunday met with Sudan peace mediators in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa to discuss the political situation in the country.
In a statement Voice of Peace obtained on Tuesday, SPLM-N Negotiating Team Spokesman Mubarak Ardol said their delegation had a meeting with African Union, United Nations Secretary-General and IGAD leaders.
He said the leaders discussed widespread violations of human rights, war crimes against humanity, constitutional amendments, elections and massive attack on freedoms of the press.
The Spokesman said Sudanese would continue demanding for freedom, total peace and the liquidation of the one-party system.
Talks between the government and SPLM-N are due to resume this month in Addis Ababa.
