Charity officers challenged women to remain with their natural appearance rather than changing their original colour.

Caritas Communication Officer Thomas Longa who does not admire ladies who bleaches wondered if they are not convinced with their nature.

Mr Longa said bleaching exposed the skin layer to diseases because the upper layer that resists the direct sun heat is removed away and creates bad smell.

Street Children Aid Celina Modong dislikes bleaching because it changes the skin to orange and causes death especially to pregnant women who could through operation.

CRN could not access those practicing the act for comments.
