The United States or US Ambassador to South Sudan told Juba that children of today are the potential leaders of tomorrow and that US is proud to support by ensuring that children achieve the potential to lead the young country in the future.
Charles Twining made the statement during US Agency for International Development or USAID launch of a new project providing quality basic education to children in South Sudan currently out of school.
USAID continues to support education in the country since 2002 to improve access to quality education for thousands of learners.
The US government supports six education projects worth more than 165 million Dollars in South Sudan.
The new project would be implemented by BRAC International to establish 350 community schools in Equatoria and Lakes States in over three years catering for 10,500 children out-of-school by training and supporting 350 community teachers.
