USAID, Faith-based Groups discuss ways to achieve peace, reconciliation

United State Agency for International Development Deputy Assistant Administrator for Africa on Thursday met with the Faith-based Group in Juba to discuss ways of achieving peace and reconciliation in South Sudan.
 
In a statement USAID posted on its Facebook page, the group is expected to explore ways to work jointly with other stakeholders in the country.
 
The group comprised of Christian and Muslim religious leaders in the country, taking part in the country’s peace process since it started in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.
 
The meeting involved USAID’s Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives Director Mark Brinkmoeller.
