One person died and seven others injured on Monday when Ural vehicle overturned at Migri road in Heiban County of Nuba Mountains region.
One of the victims receiving medical treatment in the local hospital, Alfatte Abadalla, told Voice of Peace that the driver lost control when the car was sliding from the high slope.
He added that the vehicle that was carrying 40 passengers from Heiban to Kauda town had no brakes.
Mr Abadalla said before reaching Migri, some passengers decided to get down on the truck but could not make it.
The victim articulated the frequent accidents happening around Migri in Heiban County to bad road conditions.
