The National Certificate Exams scripts on Monday arrived in Rumbek ahead of the exercise next week.

National Education Ministry Undersecretary Michael Lopuke Lotyam told the press upon arrival that he was leading a delegation to deliver exams papers for 300 candidates sitting next Monday in seven centers across Lakes State, Radio Good News reported.

He attributed the exams delay to the ministry’s technical preparation to avoid repeating mistakes that occurred in the 2013.

State Education Acting Director-General Alfred Agolder Mathok said they told Rumbek East and Yirol West Commissioners to ensure candidates’ safety during the exams.

The two officials were speaking during the delivery of exams scripts at Rumbek Airport on Monday morning.
