Central Equatoria Government Spokesperson described the remarks of Presidential Press Secretary as ‘irresponsible and misguided’.
Suba Samuel Manasseh on Monday reacted to Ateny Wek Ateny’s statement that Governor Clement Wani Konga’s speech was ‘irresponsible and unfortunate’.
The Spokesperson told the press that the Governor was calling on Greater Equatoria leaders to advocate for peace and unity, urging those who want to pick up arms to avoid complicating the already bad situation.
He advised the Presidential Press Secretary to use diplomatic means instead of the media, describing the act as ‘unethical and unprofessional’.
The Spokesperson expressed state government’s dismay after Mr Wek described Governor Konga’s statement as irresponsible.
