South Sudanese of Kajo-Keji County and Ugandan musicians of Moyo District launch a song known as ‘we are one’ aimed at sending reconciliation messages to Ma’di and Kuku people.
City FM Presenter Lupai Samuel Kenyi famously known as Sweetheart Sambro said they organized Kuku musicians known as Hard Life Avenue and Compo group from Madi’s side under Skyline International Promotions to sing together.
He added that their song appeals to Kuku and Ma’di communities to leave behind hatred, open a new chapter and live together.
Mr Lupai said Moyo and Kajo-Keji citizens need to sort out their conflict root causes through dialogue, advising them to reflect on good things they were sharing together.
The Presenter said they are holding similar event in Kajo-Keji County and Nimule of South Sudan and Moyo and Adjumani Districts of Uganda.
Mr Lupai said the initiative followed clashes between Ma’di and Kuku communities which negatively affected both sides.
