Western Bahr El Ghazal Health Minister called for a fight against stigma and the use of condoms in order to attain zero new HIV infection in the state.
Isaac Cleto Hassan told the people living with HIV/AIDS at Wau Teaching Hospital to continue speaking in order to sensitize others on dangers of the diseases, Voice of Hope reported.
He urged those affected to attend to HIV services in order to stay healthy, calling for massive campaigns against stigma.
Dr Cleto said the state registered 61 babies born of mothers living with HIV AIDS tested negative through the prevention of mother to child treatment services.
He said there are already high chances of mothers living with HIV/AIDS to give birth to negative babies if they attend the care services.
