Yei Municipality authorities on Friday met with bottled-water producing companies to unify water prices to both wholesalers and consumers in the town.
Yei Mayor Santo Paul Lasuba said they resolved that all water companies sell a carton of water at 18 South Sudanese to wholesalers and one Pound per bottle to consumers, Radio Easter reported.
He urged all shop keepers not to increase prices to two Pounds, threatening to take legal procedures against violators.
During the meeting, the companies expressed concern on Dollar scarcity affecting their business, calling on the government to draw measures against such challenges.
