WES youths concludes good governance training

Western Equatoria youths from Nzara, Yambio, Ezo, Nagero and Tombura counties completed three-day training on good governance, conflict management and democracy at Nzara Women Resource Centre.
 
Community Empowerment, Rehabilitation and Development Project Officer Asenju Sony appreciated the trainees, urging them to share the skills with other youths in their various payams and counties, Anisa Radio reported.
 
She urged the youths to support the government by joining hands to change the country through good governance.
 
Ms Sony said the workshop helped the youths to understand that good governance does not only concern the government, but should start with them on how to manage their homes and associations.
 
She stated that good governance concerns all youths to make positive change in South Sudan because more than half of the population are young people.
 
Ms Sony disclosed a one-year pilot project targeting youths in Ibba, Maridi, Mundri West and Nzara Counties of Western Equatoria State.
