The Governor of South Kordofan, SPLM-N members and NGOs representatives gathered at Nuba Mountains on Monday for political capacity building workshop to ensure independent leadership to realize the vision of the new Sudan.
The organizations’ representative Muhajir Kokandi told the audience at the opening ceremony that, a failed ceasefire would cause a humanitarian damage to the Nuba Mountains people, Voice of Peace reported.
He said they pleaded to the international community and their appeal was heard around the world particularly on human rights violations in South Kordofan.
Brigadier General Suleiman Jabon called on the participants to implement the vision of the SPLM-N in any field they undertake.
South Kordofan State Governor Simon Kalu Kome said SPLM-N is fighting not only with guns but many different tools including politics.
Negotiations in Addis Ababa Ethiopia stopped, but expected to resume in few days to come although no date was fixed.
The SPLM-N disclosed a plan to extend the capacity building workshop to the people of Blue Nile.
