Kuzee communities last Wednesday arrested two thieves and handed them over to Yambio County Police headquarters.

Complainer Peter Elia Kuzee explained that last night thieves broke into the house of his brother, Tombe Elia Kuzee and stole eight iron bars, but communities managed to trace and arrested two of them in the morning, Anisa Radio reported.

Police Sergeant Abdayo Salatiel said after investigation, the two young men identified as Balas Gabriel and Andrew Mingerevuru confessed to have stolen in three consecutive occasions, 13 bars and sold five of them for 200 South Sudanese Pounds.

He added that the thieves are in detention for further investigation to find out from people who bought the bars.

He advised the public to cooperate with the police and avoid taking laws into their hands by killing criminals in residential areas.

The two thieves aged between 19 and 22 said they stole the bars to get some money to facilitate their works of baking bricks.

The communities forced them to carry the four iron bars on their shoulders from Kuzee to Masia market and Yambio town while crowds shouted at them.
