Kenya Commercial Bank or KCB on Saturday donated scholastic materials to Gudele West Basic School.
KCB Rock City Branch Manager Wilson Kirui told the media that their donation of 20 desks and cartons of writing materials shows one of their values to help communities and empower children to be better citizens, Radio Bakhita reported.
The School Headmaster Angelo Lowiya applauded KCB for the donation, describing the contribution as very important because pupils were sitting on the floor.
He urged other institutions in the country to emulate KCB to realize development in education sector.
UNHCR in collaboration with ACROSS organization constructed Gudele West Basic School.
