Kajo-Keji County of Central Equatoria State lost trust in police authority after killing of a student identified as Michael Lagu on November 16.
Kajo-Keji County Information Inspector Elikana Beden Kenyi told CRN that lack of ethics among South Sudan Police already earned them loss of trust in the area.
He added that police do not seem to follow the law; making things very difficult and bad for the civil population.
The Information Inspector disclosed that the arrest of the drunken police man who killed student Lagu resolved a community growing tension against the county authority.
He added that residents became angry, developing a negative attitude towards police.
The Information Inspector said Kajo-Keji community expects real justice on the police who killed a secondary school student.
