Eastern Equatoria State Legislative Assembly Members on Tuesday mooted going for recess or extraordinary sessions after Wednesday sitting 36 in Torit.
MP George Echom Ekeno suggested official Assembly closures before continuation with extraordinary sittings as stipulated in the State Legislative Assembly conduct of business regulations, Radio Emmanuel reported.
MP Maira Janus recommended closure of assembly sitting business for recess in accordance with the regulations to permit legislators to visit constituencies.
MP Rhino Arungole insists that if the assembly fails to close on Wednesday as required by law, the legislators would have broken their own law.
MP Tobias Lotto notified the Augus House on hospitality and transport allowances.
Speaker Tobiolo Alberio Oromo announced extra-ordinary sessions on Wednesday after the 36th sitting to resolve the legislators’ dilemma.
