Workers’ Trade Union Chairperson Arkangelo Luth Kout warned children against watching movies that may drive them to practise sexual odds, Good News Radio reported.
He urged local communities to discourage forced and early marriages in the country.
UNMISS State Coordinator Kwame Dagwa reminded Lakes State that 2014 Sexual Exploitation Day theme says ‘no to sexual exploitation and abuse’.
He urged South Sudanese to break the silence on sexual exploitation and speak out to eliminate the vice in the country.
Mr Dagwa called on the government to hold sexual abusers accountable and assist victims of sexual exploitation.
Lakes State Acting Governor Santo Domic Chol warns that it is not acceptable to embrace early marriages, blaming foreign cultures for negative influence on local cultural values and norms.
