Atlabara residents in Rumonju Sub-Quarter Council in Yei Municipality on Friday arrested a young man who stole a bag of clothes with a radio set after breaking into one of the residents’ house in the afternoon.
Sub-Chief Ezra Luwate Faustino told Radio Easter that the residents arrested a thief who claimed that he was injected with stealing medicine since 1983.
He said the thief confessed that if he takes alcohol, it immediately compels him to go stealing.
Sub-chief Luwate urged residents to be alert, cooperate and protect themselves from thieves especially during the Christmas season.
