Western Equatoria Governor on Friday met Equatoria Youth Union executives and urged them to avoid misbehaviours and misleading politics that ruins the nation and focus on future betterment.
Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro said 90 percent of trouble makers in the country are young people, citing the fighting force and other institutions.
He added that changing the image of South Sudan for the better requires youths with prudent and critical minds for rebuking elders’ wrong deeds.
Governor Bakoso decried political crisis in the country as negative for youth growth, advising young people to change leaders’ bad attitudes with frank and open criticisms
He stressed the need for leaders to value life more than selfish interests destroying youths in South Sudan.
Equatoria Youth Union President Daniel Abocha Ali urged the youths to engage in agricultural activities for self-reliance, employment and boosting economic growth.
The Union President cited the greatest enemy of South Sudan as ignorance that must be fought with education.
