Tonj South County Animal Resources and Fisheries Doctor said flood displaced many cattle and affected their vaccination.
Joseph Lual said in July, August and September they vaccinated 6,000 heads of cattle and 200 in October alone, Don Bosco Radio reported.
He said many people were not bringing their animals for vaccination because floods displaced them to different directions and that vaccinators cannot reach all cattle camps because water is everywhere.
Mr Lual said the vaccines for cows and goats are available in the office, but no people bringing goats for immunization.
He said no vaccines for dogs and poultry, advising floods affected communities and cattle keepers to wait until water subsides for vaccinators to reach them.
