Over 100 nurses undergo training in Nuba Mountains

Hakima Health and Science College Principal in Nuba Mountains said 139 community health workers are attending a three-month nursing course in Heiban County.
 
Ismail Dabura told Voice of Peace on Friday that the training aimed at developing and promoting health science in the community.
 
He explained that they teach medicine, nursing, nutrition, EPI, first aid and surgery.
 
Mr Dabura said the College opened on July15 with five tutors, encouraging the community to join the training to benefit from the skills for health services.
 
He said Hakima College graduated 393 students in the Nuba Mountains, since its establishment in 2008.
