The National Security Service on Tuesday released Bakhita Radio News Editor Ocen David Nicholas to the Union of Journalists of South Sudan or UJOSS Chairperson Oliver Modi and Association of Media Development in South Sudan or AMDISS Treasurer Alfred Taban.

The Security still holds the keys of Bakhita Radio station to keep it closed with claims of lack of registration and operation license.

The Editor said he was in good health, but traumatized in the last three days’ detention with the darkness and horror in security room where he could not differentiate the day from the night.

Mr David added that he was alleged to be a rebel collaborator and government traitor to the international community by balancing the news story about fresh fighting in Bentiu and Ayod between government and SPLM/A in Opposition forces last Friday.

The Radio management is still following up with authorities to negotiate the operation of Bakhita Radio.
