Saint Daniel Comboni zone leader in Yei Catholic Diocese on Sunday condemned Christians who convert from one denomination to another and get the second baptism.
Simon Luwate said the second baptism is never stipulated in the Bible, wondering whether some Christians continue to convert in search for riches because all churches use the same Bible, Easter Radio reported.
He explained that Jesus call for one to convert or be born again means Christians should renew faith and denounce evil by turning to God.
Area head-woman, Regina Jamba, urged residents to stop the spirit of tribal or religious discrimination when sharing activities.
She called them to continuously exercise the maximum cooperation, unity and sharing in both difficult and joyful times in the area.
