Yei Catholic Bishop on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral declared that Friday will be a holiday for all instructions of diocese marking the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe announced that the celebration of the Day is expected to start with a procession from Yei Freedom Square and conclude with a solemn mass at the Cathedral, Easter Radio reported.
The Catholic Church on August 15 every year celebrates Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven.
