German Development Bank or KFW disclosed a plan to invest five point six million Euros to provide clean drinking water to residents in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State.
The KFW Water Firm Manager Bona Penah told Easter Radio that the money would be used for drilling boreholes, building reservoirs, water kiosks and improvement of public latrines.
He said project implementation is expected to start in late October.
Yei River County Commissioner Juma David Augustine appealed to development partners to expand similar projects to other areas in need of clean drinking water.
