Africa High Court President on human rights appealed for peace in South Sudan.
 
Justice Sophia Akupo during a visit to Rumbek town of Lakes State told the media that peace is very important, Good News Radio reported.
 
The Court President believes South Sudan will find relative lasting peace and prosperity.
 
Justice Akupo, who is part of African Union or AU Commission of Inquiry team investigating the root causes of conflict in South Sudan, explained that they would get ideas to achieve unity among communities in the country.
 
The Court President’s team is expected to meet IDPs in Lakes State.
 
She told the press that AU Commission of Inquiry is praying for the success of peace talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
