South Sudan, Zimbabwe sign education cooperation MoU

National Ministry of Education and its Zimbabwean counterpart on Wednesday in Juba signed a memorandum of understanding on education cooperation, development and teachers training.
 
Minister John Gai Yoah signed for South Sudan and Zimbabwean Primary and Secondary Education Minister Lazarus Dokora signed on behalf of Zimbabwe.
 
The MoU said Zimbabwe would deploy professionals to train teachers of national Secondary Schools, Teachers’ Institutes and Technical Centres in South Sudan.
 
Dr Gai commended Zimbabwe for supporting South Sudan since the liberation struggle days.
 
Dr Dokora described the MOU as a milestone for transforming South Sudan education system for ten years.
 
He expressed his country’s readiness to support the young nation in many fields.
