Christ the King Parish Priest called on Christians to think of their time on earth and evaluate what they are doing to please God.
Fr Tom Poru Martin in his homily during the last funeral service of the late catechist Badi Gabriel who passed away due to dental infection, encouraged Christians to imitate his hard work examples including dying while serving God, Easter Radio reported.
Tore Parish Priest Lazarus Mondua described the late catechist as a true prophet and Apostle of God who helped the diocese and Christ the King Chapel.
He stressed the need to remember, acquire and implement his good teachings.
Fr Mondua quoted the late catechist Badi as saying ‘he will only commit to serve God until his time comes to leave the earth’.
The late 67-year old catechist Badi, a father of five children, was born in January 11, 1947 and enthroned fully by Fr Lazarus Mondua on September 26, 1991.
