Archbishop Lukudu calls for togetherness during Ramadan

The Catholic Archbishop of Juba called on citizens to stay together and share with Muslim communities in the country in celebrating Eid El Fitr, a festival for breaking the fast after 30 days of the holy month of Ramadan.
 
Archbishop Paolino Lukudu Loro urged South Sudanese to continue praying for peace as Christians share with Muslims the moment of happiness, Bakhita Radio reported.
 
He said as all people want peace, all citizens should join their hand, voices and hearts to pray for an end to war in South Sudan.
 
The former Central Equatoria Muslim Affairs chairperson Juma Saeed said they hope that next year’s festivals would be celebrated in peace.
 
The Muslims worldwide today celebrate Eid El Fitir after fasting for 30 during the Holy month of Ramadan.
