The President of the Republic on Tuesday opened a newly constructed County headquarters at Ngo Baggari in Wau, Western Bahr El Ghazal State.
Salva Kiir Mayardit while addressing crowds during the ceremony said the transfer of the County headquarters was a first step to create job opportunities for the local community, Voice of Hope reported.
President Kiir said those who were against the transfer in 2012 were people of no vision and did not understand benefits of taking towns to villages.
He cautioned against irresponsible acts creating setbacks on development.
