Yei Catholic Bishop urged Christians in South Sudan to take some days within a week to reflect and pray enough to increase their spiritual strength and ease day to day burdens.
Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe during his Sunday homily at Christ the King Cathedral said most Christians pray on Sundays and other big days of obligation, neglecting prayer in the week days, Easter Radio reported.
He urged Christians to have time to reflect and pray every day as Christ Jesus did.
Bishop Lodu explained that some Christians love Jesus very much during happy moments and neglect God during difficult times.
The Catholic prelate called on Christians to pray to God regularly and sincerely.
He advised Christians to stop revenge, but forgive and change.
Bishop Lodu appealed to Christians to love one another as Jesus Christ commanded them.
