Western Bahr El Ghazal state allocated one hundred and fifty thousand South Sudanese Pounds for the third independence anniversary celebration in all counties.
Independence Committee Chairperson Andal Awadalla Nasir told Voice of Hope on Saturday that the state formed five sub-committees to prepare for the ceremony.
Mr Awadalla explained that celebration would take place at Wau Stadium followed by cultural dances at the Theatre to be concluded with football matches at Isaac Stadium.
He added that the state will officially open Ngo Baggarri and Nyinakok Payam headquarters.
South Sudan is marking its third independence anniversary under the theme: ‘One nation, one people’.
