Central Equatoria State Governor told journalists on Thursday in Juba that nobody would sit on his head or on Equatoria because citizens are all equal by law.
Clement Wani Konga said some people were afraid of federalism for nothing, arguing that federalism would uphold the ten states and transfer power and resources to benefit all.
The Governor revealed ethnic plans against Equatorians, warning that such evil plans would only disintegrate the country.
Governor Wani dismissed allegations that he was mobilising Mundari people to attack Juba, saying it was created story meant to disunite South Sudanese.
He added that it was unfortunate that the allegation came out to destroy the little portion of unity in the country.
Governor Wani says he is a unionist by nature and he wants unity for building a strong nation for all.
The governor regretted that South Sudan started wrongly in 2005, calling for correction.
He argues that he does not intend to bring in federal system of governance through bloodshed.
The Governor explained that four Equatoria conferences resolved to embrace federalism and that when he handed over the resolutions to President Salva Kiir, he did not talk against it.
