Council of States members on Wednesday met Central Equatoria Governor and tabled proposals to create new counties in Juba.

He said the decision followed President Kiir’s directives during while opening the fourth session of the National Legislature on June 2.
The head of the committee added that the President’s directives were fulfilling Governor Konga’s request for more counties in Juba.
Mr Masuwa said the committee carried out survey before presenting the paper to the Governor and that he would give the names of the new counties after presenting the report to the Council next week.
