Measles outbreak killed one child and 20 others hospitalized in different areas of Heiban County.
A nurse in a local hospital Nyalu Ajiman confirmed one child died in Ajarbago on Friday and 11 were seriously suffering, Voice of Peace reported.
He added that some children from Ajarbago admitted to GED health facility were transferred to the hospital for further treatment.
Mr Ajiman explained that many children were diagnosed and discovered to have brain damage, meningitis and other diseases.
He said hospital was working hard to examine unidentified cases of Ajarbago, calling on authorities to provide measles vaccines.
