Central Equatoria is expected to celebrate the World Teachers’ Day on October 5 in Yei River County.
State Teachers’ Professional Union Chairperson Fr Peter Lodu Tombe broke the news to government teachers during a meeting on Thursday in Yei, Easter Radio reported.
He called on Yei authorities to prepare for the success of the day in consultation with the Union and the state ministry.
On the same occasion, Yei River County Primary School Supervisor Martin Woja announced that the inter-primary primary school football competitions final would be played in Ombasi of Otogo Payam.
He said the competitions would rotate all payams of the county to acquaint teachers to various environments.
Yei inter-primary schools football competition is always played in second the term.
