Torit Catholic Diocese Apostolic Administrator said the Holy Spirit is the new law and a force that leads Christians to do everything good.

Monsignor Thomas Oliha in his homily on Pentecost Sunday said goodness is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, Emmanuel Radio reported.

The Apostolic Administrator said baptism and confirmation transform Christians into holy people chosen and set apart for God’s Kingdom.

He added that in baptism, Christians receive the Holy Spirit to defeat death and sins.

The Apostolic Administrator stressed that love of God goes hand in hand with the love of a neighbour and that one cannot love God and hate the neighbour.

Monsignor Oliha reminded Christians that if one claims to love God but hates the brother or sister that person is a liar.
