Rumbek Commissioner tells chiefs to identify armed youths

Rumbek Central County Commissioner in Lakes State told local chiefs to help the government identify armed youths especially those with big guns in cattle camps.
 
Mawet Manuer on Monday directed all chiefs to play a big role to ensure that the government gets those big guns in cattle camps, Radio Good News reported.
 
He warned that chiefs’ who would violate the orders would face dismissal.
 
Commissioner Manuer said chiefs agreed to disarm the youths to end rampant cattle rustling in Lakes State.
 
He also warned that violators of the peaceful disarmament would face force disarmament.
 
The Commissioner said disarming the youth was one of the means to realize relative peace in Lakes State.
