A man in Rumbek of Lakes State almost killed his wife after learning that she gave birth to another baby boy.
The father of five boys was furious and caught his wife by the neck when he discovered that the wife delivered another boy making a total of six boys in the family.
An anonymous source told Good News Radio that the man in question was unhappy and worried of how his sons would marry in the future if they did not have sisters to fetch dowries for them.
The woman reportedly received maternal care neglect from some of her family members for the same reason.
